Welcome

From a personal perspective this is not just a welcome to you to the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Community Partnership website but a sad farewell as I soon stand down as Chairman, and hand over the reins to CP Director Celia Burns.

The Community Partnership will continue to have a collective vision for the National Park as a special and vibrant place where we live and work. We want to inspire, encourage, support and enable local communities to be active in their own social, economic, environmental and cultural development, by community councils, community development trusts and community groups working in tandem with each other, creating opportunities for local participation.

As my time here almost comes to an end, I reflect over my 8 years as Chairman and feel honoured for having had this opportunity and the pleasure to have met and worked with so many inspiring individuals.

I would like to thank you and bid you all farewell.
