Following a degree in Marine Biology Dinah moved to Argyll, and would never willingly live anywhere else, it is just so beautiful and peaceful.
Dinah’s work has been varied from child friendly jobs when the family were young to sailing instructor, 4 star hotel management, working with the homeless in Glasgow, managing the census for Argyll and Bute and now best of all owning an independent book shop in Dunoon.
Bringing with her a wealth of community experience Dinah has been lucky enough to volunteer with the community where she has lived for the last 40 years. Her roles have included the community council and community development trust as well as forming a Woodland Trust. Dinah played an instrumental role as director of the Dunoon Pier Community Trust in an attempt to ensure the pier is re-opened for public use.
Dinah joined the Community Partnership in 2015 formerly as a Director for Cowal before recently becoming Chair this year (2017). Dinah is looking forward to be playing an important role in the development of the National Park area and meeting with all our members.
