A youth event to make a difference to nature – have fun – meet young people – learn new skills and feel good is coming to Balloch.
Young people are being invited to attend the Nature Jam in partnership with Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park Authority, John Muir Trust, TCV and West Dunbartonshire Range Service, on Wednesday 1st August from 10am – 3pm in Balloch Country Park.
This event will be free to attend, lunch will be provided and some financial support to transport is available to groups who require it.
This event will tie with the TCV Youth Swarm events, and will help to contribute to the conservation work of the National Park and West Dunbartonshire Rangers. This will give young people an opportunity to make a real difference to a place local to them and to have their say about their connection with nature/the outdoors.
Activities will include invasive species removal, environmental art, bush craft, path work and nature detective surveys.
Do you know of any groups of young people who would be interested in taking part?
