We are delighted to announce that our new Social Enterprise Hub in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park has received funding from Forth Valley and Argyll and the Islands LEADER Programmes!
The Hub is a LEADER cooperation project, jointly developed by The Community Partnership and the Social Enterprise Academy and supported by Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. It will deliver SEA learning programmes across both LEADER areas as well as seeking commercial opportunities and contracts for the future and supporting new and existing social enterprises in the area.
The Hub will deliver a number of Academy programmes in its first year, including a social enterprise Leadership course and courses on developing and growing your social enterprise. We hope to work with young people and to develop new opportunities for social entrepreneurship across the LEADER areas and particularly in the Park.
Social Enterprise Academy Tutors
One of the key outcomes is that we will develop a pool of Social Enterprise Academy tutors in the National Park area who will be able to provide learning for;
- Social entrepreneurs,
- Community activists,
- Trust members
- and volunteers in the future.
As well as face to face learning, the new tutors will complete their learning through shadowing Academy tutors in delivery of the Leadership and other courses.
If you think you would like to become a Hub tutor, please give us a call.
This is a great opportunity for the communities of the National Park, both for skills and social enterprise development in the Park communities and for the future development of the Community Partnership.
Exciting opportunities to work with us.
Interviews are now underway for 2 part time members of staff a Business Development Manager and a Learning Coordinator, which will both be LEADER funded. Once in post
